EGO & BEING
When you are deeply present, something in you becomes transparent, and others feel it without a word being spoken. The defenses drop. What was hidden in the heart, the pretense, the pain long buried, rises quietly into the light of that presence and can no longer stay concealed.
This is why an awakened stillness affects everyone near it. A person meets that space in you and recognizes something sacred, not as an idea but as a felt reality. They sense that the divine is not far away in the sky but alive and near, here in this moment. And so they are moved to reverence, because they have touched the truth of presence itself.

SUFISM
When a stranger enters the gathering and hears words that seem to name his hidden shame, it is as if a lamp were carried into a room he thought was dark. What kneels him is not embarrassment but recognition: the pride that kept him apart is seen, yet he is not destroyed.
The light that exposed him was never the speaker's alone. God was in the room the whole time, showing Himself through ordinary voices, so the one who feels found has found the Presence that was there all along.
Ego v. Being lens
Who feels safe enough around you to stop pretending?
The still water clears on its own. Nobody stirs it into clarity, and what was hidden in it settles and shows.
It is said that a person of real presence changes a room without instructing anyone. People sit differently near stillness.
The teachers held that one hour in the company of a settled heart does more than a year of argument, because presence is caught and not taught.
