Scarcity runs a person's whole state, and the way out is spending on somebody else before the fear has lifted. Fear of running out produces gripping, gripping shrinks the world down to the size of what is gripped, and a life lived in that loop arrives at precisely the ending it was trying to prevent.

SELF-HELP
Scarcity runs a person's whole state, and the way out is spending on somebody else before the fear has lifted.
Fear of running out produces gripping, gripping shrinks the world down to the size of what is gripped, and a life lived in that loop arrives at precisely the ending it was trying to prevent. A woman gathering sticks for a final meal had already agreed with her ending and was, in her own mind, finished.
She moved while still afraid, which is how anyone ever moves on a word from God, and the supply met the action rather than the feeling. Feeding a stranger before feeding her own son is what the next hundred meals came out of. Hold the last handful and it feeds one house for one day, and the day after that a person is exactly as poor and entirely alone.
Self-Help lens
What have you already quietly decided is too late for you?
Act because the act is right, not because the feeling has arrived first. The feeling is not the permission.
Chop the wood, carry the water. Doing the next ordinary thing is how a frightened mind gets moved, not by waiting for the fear to lift on its own.
Stop arguing about what a good man should be, and be one. The argument is where the time goes, and the doing is the only part that counts.
