MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

Salvation comes through one birth, the delivery of a single child out of the skull rather than out of the body. The woman here is generic man, and the power she carries to term is her own imagination, the creative force scripture calls Jesus Christ. Bearing many ideas saves no one. What saves is bringing this one child, the awakened imagination, up and out of the top of the head into a waking life.

Faith, charity, holiness and a steady mind are the conditions the birth is held in, the persistence that keeps the child alive until it is born. The body worn through this, male or female, is beside the point, since the birth is not from the womb at all. A person is saved the day his own imagination wakes as the living power in him. That waking, and nothing about the flesh, is the salvation meant.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

The emotional nature is kept and made whole only as it bears, and what it bears must be governed by the mind. The woman here is the feeling self, and her childbearing is the fruit that emotion brings forth once it is held under ordering reason rather than left to run loose. Wholeness for that part of a person comes through its labor, not around it.

The faith, charity, and sober steadiness that must continue are the mind's steady rule over feeling, the condition under which the emotional self carries its offspring safely to term. Emotion left ungoverned scatters; emotion ordered by reason produces and endures. The feeling nature is preserved by staying yoked to the mind while it brings its fruit forth.

The woman: the emotional, feeling nature in a person, whole only when governed by the mind

Live 1 Timothy 2:15 today

  1. Pick the one thing you actually want and sit with it alone for five minutes today, no notes, no searching. Carry it the way you would carry something alive, not the way you would carry a to do list.
  2. Tell one person, not the group chat, about that single thing, and say it as though it were underway rather than hoped for. Let them hear the steadiness in it.
  3. When today tries to hand you five new priorities, let four of them wait. Keep the one, kindly and without apology, even if someone pushes.

If I could only bring one thing to term this year, what is it?

The teaching warns against collecting insights. One thing carried all the way through is worth more than a hundred bright ideas half held.

Steady devotion to one practice is what delivers a person. The mind that leaps between many aims arrives nowhere.
