Calling him 'our Father' rests on a tie already made, so the asking rises to One who has taken this church as his own. A single 'from' covers both names, placing the Lord Jesus Christ beside the Father as source, not a messenger carrying it. Wishing this on people already in the faith assumes they will need both again tomorrow, from a supply that is not their own.

  1. Ask for help with one thing you have been handling alone, today, out loud. Needing it again tomorrow does not cancel asking now.
  2. Wish someone well and mean it specifically, not as a sign-off. Tell a colleague you hope the week eases up, and name the thing you know is heavy for them.
  3. When you are running on empty and someone needs something from you, say so plainly instead of pretending. Being honest about the edge of your supply is kinder than resenting them from behind a smile.

What am I trying to generate for myself that I was supposed to receive?
