A person moves when the pain of staying finally outweighs the fear of going, and until that scale tips they keep discussing the risk instead of walking into it. Once it tips, the decision produces motion, motion produces information, and the information rewrites what they believed was out there waiting.
God emptied that camp before anyone stood up, which means the walk created nothing and discovered everything. Anyone who requires proof before moving keeps an accurate picture of a situation God has already changed, and starves in front of it.
