2 Samuel 6:12 Meaning King David Was Told

King David was told, “Yahweh has blessed the house of Obed-Edom, and all that belongs to him, because of God’s ark.” So David went and brought up God’s ark from the house of Obed-Edom into David’s city with joy.

What does 2 Samuel 6:12 mean?

Wherever the vessel of higher light rests, blessing gathers around it, and the mental self moves to carry that vessel up into its own seat. The ark is the right hemisphere of the brain, the container of the photon, the light through the pineal gland; wherever it dwells, everything near it prospers, because the higher light spills over onto all it touches.

The gladness is the point. The light is not dragged in by duty but brought up in harmony, the whole of a person moving in tune like instruments in a symphony. David is the mental self coming into accord with the higher light and lifting it home. When the parts of a person agree, the vessel of the photon is carried up with joy, and the seat that receives it is blessed the way its former dwelling was. Worship, inside the body, sounds like everything playing on key at once.

Ark: the right hemisphere of the brain, the vessel that holds the photon, the light through the pineal gland.

Live 2 Samuel 6:12 today

  1. Do one small thing today that you normally do grimly, washing dishes, the walk to the car, and do it with actual gladness, humming if that is what comes. Watch how different the same ten minutes feel.
  2. Think of someone whose presence makes a room better and tell them so, in a text, today, with one specific example. Blessing that gets named tends to spread.
  3. When the day turns heavy, a bad email, traffic that will not move, stop treating the next task as something to drag. Pick it up willingly or set it down honestly, but not both at once.

What good thing am I carrying through my day like a chore instead of a gift?
