Acts 1:11 Meaning Who Also Said

who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”

What does Acts 1:11 mean?

The ones addressed are already standing in the risen state and do not know it. Galilee is the inner circuit of the brain, the electrical pathway the risen energy travels when meditation lifts it, an elevated condition of consciousness rather than a place on a map.

The ones addressed are already standing in the risen state and do not know it. Galilee is the inner circuit of the brain, the electrical pathway the risen energy travels when meditation lifts it, an elevated condition of consciousness rather than a place on a map. To stand there gazing upward for a returning figure is to look outside the head for what has moved inside it. The energy that rose to the crown will come again the same way it went: within, along the same circuit, in the higher mind, not down out of an outer sky.

The looking-up is the mistake. What ascended was the energy climbing to the top of the head, and its return is another rising along the inner pathway, felt in a person's own consciousness.

Galilee: the inner electrical circuit of the brain, the pathway the risen energy travels, an elevated state of consciousness rather than a place Heaven: the higher mind, the crown of the head where the risen energy gathers

  1. Next time you unlock your phone to feel better, pause with your thumb over the screen. Whatever you are reaching out for, see if a version of it is already sitting inside you, unwatched.
  2. When a friend asks you for the thing they already have, courage, permission, a decision, do not hand it over. Ask them what they already know, and let the answer come from their side of the table.
  3. Stuck in traffic or in a line, catch yourself scanning ahead for relief. Let your eyes soften and come back to the inside of your own head, and let the next few seconds happen there instead of up the road.

What are you still waiting to arrive from outside, when it may already be here?
