Acts 13:22 Meaning When He Had Removed Him

When he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, to whom he also testified, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who will do all my will.’

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

Saul is the old state ruled by fear, the self that takes the present report of the senses as final. When that self is set aside, David takes the throne. David is the outer world turned obedient, the whole responsive scene that carries out an inner act and hands it back as accomplished fact. That is why he is called a man after God's own heart and the one who fulfils all the will. Whatever a person has imagined and quietly lived as already so, God owns as his own doing, and the world moves to complete it.

Jesse means the plain statement, I am. From that root the answering world is born. The imagined state assumed within is no private wish. That state is the will of the power inside you, and it arrives bringing everything that was claimed.

Live Acts 13:22 today

  1. Pick one thing you want and sit with it for two minutes with your phone face down, feeling it as already settled. Not asking for it, just living in the version of your day where it is handled.
  2. With one person today, speak to them out of the outcome you want rather than the worry. If you want things easy between you, talk as though they already are, and let your tone carry it.
  3. When something goes wrong at work and the first report sounds final, let it be a report and not a verdict. Keep moving in the quiet certainty that this ends well, even while the email thread says otherwise.

Which fear have I been treating as the king of my day?

Tao Te Ching

The sage does not force the world, yet the world follows. He holds to the inner way, and things complete themselves around him without struggle.

Upanishads

The deepest self in you is the same power that holds the stars. What that self says of itself, the world around it becomes.

Stoicism · Epictetus

What lies inside your own assent is yours and obeys you. Give up the fearful judgment about the report in front of you, and the quieter ruling self takes its place.
