Acts 22:11 Meaning When I Couldn’t See for the Glory
When I couldn’t see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.

Acts 22:11 · World English Bible
When I couldn’t see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.
A light can be so full that the eyes go dark before it. What blinds here is not absence but too much presence, a brightness the old way of seeing cannot hold.
From the Ego v. Being reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

EGO & BEING
A light can be so full that the eyes go dark before it. What blinds here is not absence but too much presence, a brightness the old way of seeing cannot hold. When the mind that mapped every road falls silent, a person is left unable to steer, and that helplessness is not the end of the story.
Then come the hands. Sight goes, and something steadier takes over, the quiet knowing that moves through others when a person can no longer move himself. He does not find the way. He is carried into it, and still he arrives. When the eyes that once ran ahead stop trying, a deeper current brings the traveler home.
Ego v. Being lens
Where are you still steering with your eyes closed because being led feels worse than being lost?
Yield and you are carried. The one who stops forcing the way finds the way was already moving.
Sometimes the help comes as a hand you did not ask for. Let yourself be led and you will get where no amount of steering was going to take you.
The bowl that is already full receives nothing. Empty it and it can be filled.
