Amos 7:2 Meaning When They Finished Eating the Grass
When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said, “Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Amos 7:2 · World English Bible
When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said, “Lord Yahweh, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”
Jacob is the small, undeveloped state of your own awareness, the tiny image of God in you before it has grown to its full stature. He is called small because that is exactly what he is at the start, a low and contracted sense of being, not yet aware of the power he carries.
From the Manifestation reading below.

MANIFESTATION
Jacob is the small, undeveloped state of your own awareness, the tiny image of God in you before it has grown to its full stature. He is called small because that is exactly what he is at the start, a low and contracted sense of being, not yet aware of the power he carries. The question, by whom shall Jacob arise, is answered by no one outside; only the power already seated within him can lift him, expanding that little reflection test by test until it reaches its height.
The grass eaten to the ground is the stripping of the old growth, the leveling of everything a person leaned on, so that nothing outside is left to rise by. What is small must be enlarged from within, since Jacob names the capacity to grow. God sees himself reflected small in you and enlarges that reflection over time until you and that power are one.
Manifestation lens
What in me is small because it has not been used yet?
A tall tree begins as something you could crush with one hand. Small is where great things honestly start.
A mind is trained the way a jar fills from single drops. Nothing outside can grow it for you, and nothing inside is too small to grow.
The self inside you is smaller than a seed and larger than the sky. The tiny thing and the vast thing are one.
