I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
The Son of man is the awareness of being that stands between the man you seem to be and the source of all life, and here it is brought forward to be joined with that source, the Ancient of days, the oldest thing in you, your own I AM. This meeting is not something that happened once to a stranger; it happens in sleep and in the moments when the mind is quiet, when the imagining self is lifted out of the daylight world of the senses and stands face to face with what it has always been.

MANIFESTATION

This meeting is not something that happened once to a stranger; it happens in sleep and in the moments when the mind is quiet, when the imagining self is lifted out of the daylight world of the senses and stands face to face with what it has always been.
The clouds of heaven are the images your mind carries, and on them the deeper self rises into view. The old story of a king in a foreign court is really the account of a person waking to the fact that the imagining power in him and the origin of everything are one. What you assume yourself to be is carried up and set before the very awareness that fathers every state you live.
ESOTERIC
The one like the Son of man coming with the clouds is a new order of consciousness arriving out of the unseen, carried on the hidden currents of spirit toward the oldest awareness in a person. Son of man reads as Uranus, and heaven as Ouranos, the far reaches of the sky and the higher mind above the ordinary; the clouds are the unseen spirit that veils this coming until it draws near. This is the lion of Judah stirring, a raised state of being announced from the deep field of the stars.
Brought near before the Ancient of days, the emerging awareness meets the timeless witness already seated within. What the night vision unveils is not a distant future king but a higher consciousness rising in the body to stand before the eternal self it belongs to.

PSYCHOANALYSIS
Out of the clouds, out of the layer of the mind where images form before words, comes a figure in the shape of a human being, and it is brought before the oldest presence of all. Two things meet here: the ancient depth of the soul and a new human face rising toward it.
The dream picture says something simple. What the deepest layer of a person keeps trying to produce is a whole self, one that can finally stand before the source it came from. The human shape coming on the clouds is what that wholeness looks like as it rises into the light of awareness.

The small self and the vast self sit in the same tree. When the small one stops picking fruit and simply looks, it sees there was only ever one of them.
The lover knocks for years at the door, and the voice inside finally says, it is you out there. The seeker and the sought turn out to be the same.
The one who watches your thoughts and the ground of all being are not two things meeting. The meeting is just the recognition.
