Deuteronomy 28:40 Meaning You Will Have Olive Trees Throughout All
You will have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you won’t anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives will drop off.

Deuteronomy 28:40 · World English Bible
You will have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you won’t anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives will drop off.
To possess olive trees yet stay unanointed is to carry the source of inner illumination in the body and never draw it up into consciousness. The olive is the tree that yields the sacred oil, and that oil is the fine spiritual essence, the anointing substance secreted within that lights the awakened mind.

ESOTERIC
To possess olive trees yet stay unanointed is to carry the source of inner illumination in the body and never draw it up into consciousness. The olive is the tree that yields the sacred oil, and that oil is the fine spiritual essence, the anointing substance secreted within that lights the awakened mind.
When the olive casts its fruit before it ripens, the essence is spilled and wasted, lost to appetite and outward living before it can be raised and used. The illuminating power stands present through the whole territory of the body, yet the person remains dark, holding the tree of light but never receiving its oil.
Olive trees: the inner source of illumination set throughout the body, the tree that yields the sacred essence Oil: the fine spiritual essence within, the anointing substance that lights and awakens the consciousness Fruit: the ripened inner essence which, cast down too soon, is spilled and wasted before it can be raised
