Ecclesiastes 10:2 Meaning A Wise Man’s Heart Is
A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, but a fool’s heart at his left.

Ecclesiastes 10:2 · World English Bible
A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, but a fool’s heart at his left.
The seat of feeling set at the right hand is inner understanding aligned with conscious will and higher power, the wise faculty within a person governing from the side of light and rightful action. In the language of the body the right stands for the awakened, upward current, and the heart placed there means the center of a person is turned toward spirit and directed by it.

ESOTERIC
The seat of feeling set at the right hand is inner understanding aligned with conscious will and higher power, the wise faculty within a person governing from the side of light and rightful action. In the language of the body the right stands for the awakened, upward current, and the heart placed there means the center of a person is turned toward spirit and directed by it.
The heart at the left is understanding governed by the lower, unconscious side, the feeling nature pulled toward the descending current of the flesh. Wisdom and folly are not 2 men but 2 placements of the same inner center, one leaning into the rising power and one sinking into the fallen.
Right hand: the side of conscious will and the awakened, upward current within a person Left: the side of the lower, unconscious nature and the descending current of the flesh Heart: the inner center of feeling and understanding, placed toward spirit or toward the fallen nature

Which side of me chose my last three decisions?
The same mind is either your closest friend or your worst enemy, depending on which way it faces. Nothing changes but the direction of the inner center.
An untamed mind does a person more harm than any enemy could. The same mind, tamed, does more good than any friend.
Every impression that arrives can be handed upward to reason or downward to appetite. The handing is the whole of a person's character.
