Exodus 16:19 · World English Bible
Moses said to them, “Let no one leave of it until the morning.”
Rizq: The provision set aside for you Sufis use the word for everything that reaches a person: food, money, work, a hand from a friend. Someone who trusts that a share is already set for them can stop clutching at more than the day asks for.

SUFISM
Rizq: The provision set aside for you Sufis use the word for everything that reaches a person: food, money, work, a hand from a friend. Someone who trusts that a share is already set for them can stop clutching at more than the day asks for. The fear under any stockpile is that nobody is keeping count, and a settled share answers that fear.
Ḥirṣ: Grasping for more than your share Al-Ghazali counts this among the diseases of the heart. The pull shows up right when a person finally has enough: instead of resting, they begin building against a tomorrow they cannot see. From the inside it feels like good sense, while it grows out of a quiet belief that nothing more will come.
Tawakkul: Leaning your weight on God's care Al-Ghazali gave this a long section in his Revival, and he kept it well away from idleness. A person still works and still plans; they just stop treating their own arrangements as the thing holding their life up. The work looks the same from outside, and the knot in the stomach is gone.
He would feed you as He feeds the birds, who go out hungry and come back full: trust and daily supply The Prophet said this to people worried about their next meal. Birds keep nothing in reserve, leave empty each morning, and come home fed. Anyone who measures safety by the size of their store is being shown that the supply keeps arriving anyway.
Tajdīd al-khalq: God making creation new at every moment Ibn Arabi taught that the world is remade instant by instant rather than rolling along by itself. Each new moment comes with its own supply, so whatever was held back belongs to a moment already gone. Someone gripping what came yesterday can have both hands full when today's help is handed over.

What am I holding on to that has already gone stale in my hands?
The more you hoard, the more you have to lose. Knowing when to stop keeps a person from being owned by what they own.
Clinging is the root of suffering. The thing held too tightly becomes the thing you are most afraid of losing.
What you have is on loan, not owned. Use it well, hold it loosely, and give it back without a fight when the time comes.
