Exodus 16:31 Meaning The House of Israel Called Its Name

The house of Israel called its name “Manna”, and it was like coriander seed, white; and its taste was like wafers with honey.

What does Exodus 16:31 mean?

The bread that falls from above is galactose, the brain sugar the pineal gland secretes when the inner life is quieted and fed. It is small and white like a seed because it forms in fine measure deep in the head, and its sweetness is the taste of that substance flooding the mind rather than any food of the marketplace.

The bread that falls from above is galactose, the brain sugar the pineal gland secretes when the inner life is quieted and fed. It is small and white like a seed because it forms in fine measure deep in the head, and its sweetness is the taste of that substance flooding the mind rather than any food of the marketplace. Spirit joined to mind, working within, produces its own nourishment.

The sweetness compared to honey is love and wisdom becoming real inside a person, the milk and honey that scripture keeps locating in the brain. This is why it could not be named at first: what forms in the head under meditation is felt before the mind has words for it.

Manna: galactose, the brain sugar the pineal gland secretes when the inner life is stilled Israel: Isis the spirit, Ra the mind, and El the god within, united in one person Honey: love and wisdom made sweet and real inside the mind

Live Exodus 16:31 today

  1. Before you reach for the snack, the scroll, or the second coffee, pause and ask what you actually want. Often it is rest, and nothing in the cupboard is going to deliver it.
  2. Tell one person today something you genuinely appreciate about them, out loud, not in a text. Watch how much sweeter that feels than anything you could have bought.
  3. In a dull stretch, a commute, a line at the store, let yourself be fine without input. Pleasantness does not require a screen to supply it.

What sweetness have you been shopping for that was never for sale?
