Esoteric

The awakening soul is fed the whole length of its passage through the self. Manna is the brain sugar, the galactose secreted within, the sweet mind of God that drops into the still head and nourishes a person in meditation. It comes not once but daily, sustaining the traveler until arrival.

The number 40 is the fourfold nature of man, the physical, spiritual, intellectual and emotional sides through which awareness must pass before it settles. Canaan is the ripened state the soul is journeying toward, the inhabited land where the wandering ends. So the long feeding is one truth held steady: the higher mind pours its own substance into a person across every part of the fourfold self, and it does not stop until the crossing is complete.

Live Exodus 16:35 today

  1. Pick the one small thing you do daily that keeps you steady, a walk, a few quiet minutes, a page of reading, and do it today even though it changes nothing visible.
  2. With someone in a long hard stretch, an illness, a job search, a rough year, check in today without asking how much longer. Just be there for this part of it.
  3. When a deadline or a situation feels endless, set your sights on the next hour only. You do not need supplies for the whole crossing, only for now.

What would change if you fed yourself for today instead of worrying about the whole road?
