The whole tabernacle is the human body, and the veil hung within it is the fine partition inside a person that separates ordinary waking awareness from the deepest center of being. The holy place is the conscious mind where a person lives and works, and the most holy behind the veil is the innermost sanctuary of pure consciousness.
The ark of testimony carried into that hidden room is the divine spark set at the very core, guarded and set apart. In plain words, there is a screen inside every person dividing their everyday mind from a still, secret depth where the highest life is kept.
Veil: the inner partition dividing everyday awareness from the deepest center of a person
Ark of the testimony: the divine spark carried into the innermost room and kept at the core of being
Holy place: the outer chamber of conscious, working mind where a person ordinarily lives
Most holy: the hidden inner sanctuary of pure consciousness behind the dividing screen
