Exodus 29:18 Meaning You Shall Burn the Whole Ram
You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

Exodus 29:18 · World English Bible
You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to Yahweh; it is a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
Burning the whole ram on the altar is the complete surrender of the lower animal nature to the inner fire, nothing held back. The ram is the force of the flesh, the driving animal energy in a person, and it must be given entire, not in part, so that the whole appetite is transmuted rather than merely trimmed.

ESOTERIC
Burning the whole ram on the altar is the complete surrender of the lower animal nature to the inner fire, nothing held back. The ram is the force of the flesh, the driving animal energy in a person, and it must be given entire, not in part, so that the whole appetite is transmuted rather than merely trimmed. The altar is the raised place within where this offering is made, and the fire is the spiritual heat that consumes and lifts.
The sweet savour rising is the refined essence of that burned energy ascending through the body to the higher self. What was heavy animal drive becomes fragrance climbing to the crown, the flesh turned into spirit by fire.
The ram: the animal force and appetite of the flesh, the driving lower energy in a person The altar: the raised inner place where the lower nature is offered up to be transformed Fire: the spiritual heat that consumes the animal nature and lifts its essence upward Sweet savour: the refined essence of burned appetite rising through the body toward the higher self
Esoteric lens
What am I giving ninety percent of, and what is the ten percent costing me?
When the fire of knowing is lit, it consumes the whole offering, not a corner of it. Half given stays half heavy.
The raw must be cooked. Do not ask the fire to spare part of you, that is the part that stays raw and aches.
When you sit, sit completely. Holding something back is not patience, it is just holding.
