Exodus 3:22 · World English Bible

Exodus 3:22 Meaning But Every Woman Shall Ask

But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing. You shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians.

What does Exodus 3:22 mean?

The spirit within gathers up consciousness and god consciousness from the bondage it is leaving and passes them to every faculty of a person. The woman is spirit, and she draws silver, which is consciousness, and gold, which is god consciousness, out of the house that has held her, then lays these upon the sons and daughters, the inner faculties she is raising.

To spoil the Egyptians is to strip the old left-brain captivity of its treasures and carry them into the freedom ahead. Nothing of value is left behind in the bondage; the awakening self takes consciousness itself as its plunder.

When the spirit leaves its old captivity it does not go empty but carries consciousness and god consciousness out with it, dressing every part of a person in what was reclaimed.

Woman: the spirit within a person, gathering treasure as it leaves bondage Silver: consciousness itself, drawn out of the old captivity Gold: god consciousness, the higher awareness reclaimed House: yourself, the dwelling from which the treasure is taken Egyptians: the old left-brain bondage whose treasures are carried into freedom

  1. Think of one hard chapter you came out of and name a single thing it gave you. Write it down somewhere you will find it again.
  2. Pass one thing you learned the hard way to someone who is in it now. Not advice from above, just what you wish you had known.
  3. When you leave something today, a job, a group chat, a draining habit, take the good part with you and say what it was. Walking out does not have to mean walking out empty handed.
