Exodus 40:35 Meaning Moses Wasn’t Able to Enter Into
Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

Exodus 40:35 · World English Bible
Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.
The tent is finished, and now it is so full of presence that Moses cannot go in. The cloud rests on it, the glory fills every corner, and there is no space left for a separate person to enter.

EGO & BEING
The tent is finished, and now it is so full of presence that Moses cannot go in. The cloud rests on it, the glory fills every corner, and there is no space left for a separate person to enter.
The same thing happens when stillness completely fills a person. The busy self that always wants to step forward and take its place finds there is no room for it anymore. Being has occupied the whole house. A person does not add themselves to that fullness. They simply stand at the threshold, emptied, while presence fills all the space they used to defend.

SUFISM
Even the man closest to God is stopped at the threshold, unable to walk into a fullness that leaves no room for him. There is a sickness in the heart that would push forward here, that treats nearness as a right to be seized whenever it pleases. Reverence has been mistaken for a door one simply opens.
The cure is to wait at the entrance and let the glory keep its own hours. God is present precisely in that overflow, so complete that the only fitting response is to stand still and let Him fill the place unhurried.
Ego v. Being lens
What would today feel like if I stopped needing to be in the middle of it?
The one who makes no claim for himself is given room by everything. Step back and you are not pushed aside.
Look closely for the one who is watching and no fixed self is found, only the watching. Nothing is lost in that; a weight is set down.
There is only room for one in the house. Where the self stands aside, the Beloved fills every corner.
