Exodus 9:12 Meaning Yahweh Hardened the Heart of Pharaoh
Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.

Exodus 9:12 · World English Bible
Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.
Pharaoh is not a villain who chose to resist. He is a hardened state, a settled resistance your own imagination has stiffened for a purpose, and that is why the hardening is credited to the LORD, not to Pharaoh's malice.
From the Manifestation reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

MANIFESTATION
Pharaoh is not a villain who chose to resist. He is a hardened state, a settled resistance your own imagination has stiffened for a purpose, and that is why the hardening is credited to the LORD, not to Pharaoh's malice. The whole scene shows one power playing every role. The one calling for release and the one refusing it are moved by the same hand, so no character carries the guilt and none deserves the blame.
A condition that will not yield, an obstacle that keeps its grip no matter how you appeal to it, is a part being played, not a punishment handed down. Imagination has cast itself as the immovable thing for the length of the drama, and it loosens only when the drama has done its work. What stands against you is the same life wearing a stubborn mask, and in the end the mask comes off.
Manifestation lens
What would soften in you if the thing blocking your way were not actually against you?
The one reality shows itself wearing every role at once, the kind and the terrible together. The figures on both sides are moved by the same hand.
Life is a play of forms, and the man who dreamed he was a butterfly could not say which was the costume. The part you are fighting is not a separate creature.
You are an actor in a play you did not write, and your work is only to play your part well. The hard character across from you was cast, not condemned.
