Ezekiel 10:19 Meaning The Cherubim Lifted Up Their Wings

The cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went out, with the wheels beside them. Then they stood at the door of the east gate of Yahweh’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

What does Ezekiel 10:19 mean?

The cerebrum is the machinery of consciousness rising, the brain lifting the whole seat of awareness off the ground of ordinary mind. The wings that raise it are the currents of the 2 hemispheres, and where they go the wheels of the turning centers move with them, the parts working as one instrument.

The cerebrum is the machinery of consciousness rising, the brain lifting the whole seat of awareness off the ground of ordinary mind. The wings that raise it are the currents of the 2 hemispheres, and where they go the wheels of the turning centers move with them, the parts working as one instrument. Every one of them comes to rest at the east gate, the right side of the brain, the doorway where the higher light enters and the seat of the Christ consciousness begins to open.

Above the whole rising structure stands the light within, the glory that gathers over the head when the brain is lifted and its right side is awake. This is the inner architecture coming online, the body's own temple raising its awareness toward the light it was built to receive.

Cherubims: the cerebrum, the brain as the seat of consciousness that lifts and moves Wings: the rising currents of the 2 hemispheres that raise awareness off the lower mind Wheels: the turning centers of the body that move together with the brain as one instrument East gate: the right side of the brain, the doorway where the higher light first enters Glory: the light within that gathers over the head when the right side wakes

Live Ezekiel 10:19 today

  1. Start today with one minute of thinking well of someone, including someone who irritates you. Warmth opens things in you that effort cannot.
  2. Say yes to one small invitation you would usually decline because you are tired. The lift often comes from the door you almost did not walk through.
  3. When a hard email lands, answer from the generous read of it rather than the suspicious one. Going up is a choice you make at the keyboard.

What would today feel like if I met it from the open side of myself?

Taoism · Zhuangzi

The true person rises without wings, carried by letting go rather than by effort. Grasping keeps you on the ground.

Buddhism · Metta teaching

When the heart opens, it opens wide and warm, not narrow and clever. That opening lifts the whole mind with it.

Bhagavad Gita 6

The mind that is gathered and steady rises like a flame in a still room, and such a person is at home everywhere.
