Ezekiel 34:27 Meaning The Tree of the Field Will Yield

The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.

What does Ezekiel 34:27 mean?

The yoke that binds you is not laid on you by the world but by the compulsive mind that enslaves you to the past and its demands. Those who served themselves of you are the thoughts that feed on your attention and call it living.

Ego v. Being

The yoke that binds you is not laid on you by the world but by the compulsive mind that enslaves you to the past and its demands. Those who served themselves of you are the thoughts that feed on your attention and call it living.

When that bondage is broken and you return to presence, life flows through you without strain. The tree of the field yields her fruit and the earth her increase, because you are no longer blocking the natural abundance of Being. You feel safe at last and recognize the aware presence that was living your life all along while the mind took the credit.

Live Ezekiel 34:27 today

  1. Pick one task today and do it at the speed it actually takes, no scrolling in between, no rushing to finish. Just the thing itself.
  2. Let a group chat sit unanswered for a few hours without the small pull of guilt. The thoughts that say you owe an instant reply are not actually yours to obey.
  3. When a deadline tightens and your chest goes with it, put down the plan for sixty seconds and feel yourself breathing before you pick it back up. Work tends to go faster from there, though that is not why you do it.

How much of your effort today is the work, and how much is the straining on top of it?

After the long struggle to catch and tame the ox, the herder puts the rope down and simply goes to the market. The work becomes ordinary and effortless once the fight ends.
