Ezekiel 37:1 Meaning Yahweh’s Hand Was on Me

Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me out in Yahweh’s Spirit, and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.

What does Ezekiel 37:1 mean?

The hand is the current of energy, entering on the left and going out on the right, and the spirit that carries the man is the photon, the stream of light moving through the pineal. Lifted by that light, the seer is set down in the valley, the low carnal mind, the Gehenna where the mind dumps its dead thoughts and burns its refuse.

This is not a place he travels to but the state a person falls into when the higher life withdraws.

The field is full of bones, the leftover meat-and-bone body with no animating light in it. Ezekiel's whole vision is a coded resurrection: the same light that carried him here will breathe the carnal mind back to life from the inside, and the deadness a person feels is only the dry stage before the current returns.

Live Ezekiel 37:1 today

  1. If today feels flat and mechanical, let it be flat without fixing it. Sit for a few minutes without your phone and just breathe through the dullness instead of reaching for something to spark you.
  2. Tell one person honestly that you are running on empty right now. Not as a complaint, just as a fact said out loud, which is often the moment the air starts moving again.
  3. In a meeting or a commute where you feel completely checked out, pick one real thing in front of you, a face, your hands on the wheel, the sound of the room, and stay with it for thirty seconds. Life comes back in small places first.

What part of me have I written off as dead when it may only be waiting?

The path runs straight through a stage where everything feels empty and nothing arrives. The teaching treats that flatness as a station on the way, not as proof the way was false.

Sufism · Rumi

Rumi says the wound is the place where the light enters. The dry, hollow stretches are where something opens, because a full vessel has no room for anything to pour into.

Return is the movement of the way: things go out to their furthest, emptiest point and then come back. Low ground is not the end of the cycle, it is the turn in it.
