Galatians 6:7 · World English Bible
Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Nothing you experience arrives by accident or by favor. The states you dwell in are seeds, and the world you meet is their harvest, grown at its own pace and answering only to what was planted.

MANIFESTATION
Nothing you experience arrives by accident or by favor. The states you dwell in are seeds, and the world you meet is their harvest, grown at its own pace and answering only to what was planted. You cannot sow worry all week and expect the field to bring up peace. The ground is honest. It returns the kind of the seed, never another kind.
Appeals and pretense change nothing here. A man may say fine words while inwardly rehearsing his lack, and the inward rehearsal is what ripens. Sowing is the state a person occupies, the mood he lives in as though it were already so. What a man consents to feel as fact becomes the condition he later walks through. The harvest is exact, and it is his own.

ESOTERIC
Sowing and reaping is the exact return of every state a person plants in the ground of the self. The soil is consciousness, and whatever seed-thought is dropped into it grows into the harvest of the same kind, without appeal. To sow is to send an impulse down into the fertile inner ground; to reap is to gather back the grown result in the flesh and the circumstances. The warning that the divine is not mocked means the inner law of exact correspondence cannot be flattered or fooled: the field yields only what was buried in it. Whatever a person feeds into the deep of the self, that is precisely what rises up later as the shape of the life.
Sowing: the dropping of a seed-thought or impulse down into the fertile ground of consciousness Reaping: the gathering back in flesh and circumstance of the exact harvest that the sown state grew into

PSYCHOANALYSIS
The mind is very good at fooling itself, at pretending that what we do in secret leaves no trace. The writer warns against exactly this comfortable lie. Every choice you make plants something in you, and what you plant is what will grow, whether you meant it to or not.
This is not a threat from an angry heaven. It is simply how the inner life works. The cruelty you feed becomes a cruel person. The patience you practice becomes a patient one. Nothing is wasted and nothing is hidden, because the harvest is not sent from outside as a reward or a punishment. It rises up out of the very ground you have been tending all along, which is your own self.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
There is a structure to reality that will not be flattered or bargained with, and it keeps a perfect account. Every small choice, every private betrayal of what you know to be true, is a seed planted in the soil of your own future. You cannot cheat this. The lie you tell yourself today grows, in silence, into the person you become and the world you inhabit.
This is not a threat handed down from outside. It is simply how things are put together. What you practice, you strengthen, and one day you will stand inside the harvest of it. So attend with terrible seriousness to what you are sowing, because you are going to have to live there.

CYBERNETICS
The mind cannot be fooled by the pictures you feed it. Whatever image of yourself you hold and rehearse in imagination, day after day, the success mechanism accepts as a command and works quietly to make real. A man who pictures himself as small and defeated harvests exactly that, no matter what his lips claim to want.
This is not punishment. It is simply how the inner machinery operates. If you plant a mental picture of the person you wish to become and tend it faithfully, you will one day reap that self in your daily conduct.

SUFISM
Ghurūr: Self-deception Al-Ghazali gave a long section of his Revival to the comfortable story people tell themselves about where they stand. Appearances stay tidy while the daily choices run the other way, and after a while the gap stops registering. Nothing pushes back at the time, so the story can go unchallenged for years while a life quietly sets in one direction.
Worship God as though you see him, and if you do not see him, he sees you: nothing is hidden The Prophet described worship at its best in these words. People tidy up their behavior when someone is watching, then let it slide once the room empties. Carrying the sense that the attention never lifts changes what happens in private, and private is where most of a life gets decided.
Niyya: Intention A saying of the Prophet that Sufis repeat constantly: actions count according to what was intended. Two people can do the identical thing, one because they care and one because it looks good, and the two acts are not the same. The intention sits underneath, out of sight, and it decides what the act comes to.
Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it: nothing is too small to count The Quran puts the smallest imaginable weight on both sides of the ledger. Small things feel like they disappear: the kind word nobody noticed, the cutting remark forgotten by lunchtime. Neither one disappears; both keep working inside the person who did them, shaping who shows up a year from now.
Muḥāsaba: Going over your own account Al-Ghazali built a book of his Revival around Umar's counsel to settle your accounts yourself before they are settled for you. Someone who looks back over the day honestly learns early what their choices are adding up to, while corrections are still cheap. The accounting comes either way, and a person who has been keeping their own books meets nothing they did not already know.

SELF-HELP
Every action a person takes is a seed planted in the soil of their future, and the harvest arrives whether they remember the planting or not. The small daily decisions, the thoughts fed and the ones starved, compound quietly until they become the shape of a life. There is no escaping this arithmetic by wishing.
A man who wants a different crop must change what he puts in the ground now, not complain about the field. Destiny is not luck. It is the sum of what a person consistently does, returned to them in kind.
Manifestation lens
What have I been planting all week without meaning to?
Action carries its result the way a seed carries its plant. What you do, and the mood you do it in, ripens on its own schedule.
All that we are comes from what we have thought. Speak or act from a clouded mind and trouble follows like the wheel behind the ox.
Heaven's net is wide, and nothing slips through it. Nothing is being watched over you, and nothing escapes the pattern either.
