CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

Two teachers move through the divided mind, and both are seen most clearly when the light of the world goes out. The smoking furnace is fear, dark and consuming, promising danger in the shadows. The burning lamp is love, quiet and unafraid, giving light without heat that harms. They pass between the same broken pieces, for the mind that feels itself cut apart is exactly where the choice is made.

Darkness is not the enemy here. It is only the moment when a mind can no longer pretend, and must decide which flame it will follow. One devours and one illumines, and the mind is free to choose the light that asks for nothing.

Furnace: the ego's fear, the smoke of guilt that darkens perception and makes the world seem to threaten from outside Lamp: the light of love in the mind, the gentle teacher that shines without condemning and shows the way home Pieces: the mind that believes itself divided and broken, the split between fear and love where every decision is made

Live Genesis 15:17 today

  1. Late tonight, when the house is quiet and the worry gets loud, name the two voices you are hearing. One of them is scaring you and one of them is steady, and you get to pick which one you listen to.
  2. In the group chat or at dinner, when the sharp thing is ready on your tongue, let it pass and say the kind thing instead. You will feel the two options clearly, and both are genuinely available.
  3. When something goes badly wrong at work and your first reaction is dread, pause before you act. Ask which voice is drafting the email, the one that wants to burn something down or the one that wants to see clearly.

In the dark part of today, which flame was I following?
