Genesis 17:7 Meaning I Will Establish My Covenant Between Me

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

What does Genesis 17:7 mean?

The bond between a mind and its Source does not weaken as it spreads, and it does not run out with time. What love establishes is everlasting, reaching every extension of the mind that will ever be, for truth is not divided among its inheritors but given whole to each.

Christian Psychology

The bond between a mind and its Source does not weaken as it spreads, and it does not run out with time. What love establishes is everlasting, reaching every extension of the mind that will ever be, for truth is not divided among its inheritors but given whole to each. Generations here are not years but the endless reach of a single mind, and every part of it holds the same unbroken promise.

Whatever is true cannot be lost to time or thinned by being shared. The covenant belongs as fully to the farthest reach of mind as to the first, because love gives itself completely, always.

Seed after thee: the endless extension of the mind, every part that inherits the same whole and undivided truth, unbroken across all that mind will ever become

Live Genesis 17:7 today

  1. Think of someone you have quietly ranked below you, less far along, less together, less deserving. Drop the ranking for a day and see how they look.
  2. Give someone your full attention today, the whole of it, not the leftover after your screen. You will find you did not run short later.
  3. When you are stretched thin and someone needs you, resist the thought that there is not enough of you to go around. Do the one thing in front of you completely rather than three things partly.

Who are you treating as if they got a smaller share of what you were given?

Take from the whole and the whole remains whole. What is infinite is not divided by being shared out.

One moon appears entire in every puddle, in the river, in the sea. No one gets a fraction of it.

The reason you share with every other person is not parceled out in portions. You have all of it, and so does everyone.
