Genesis 24:26 Meaning The Man Bowed His Head
The man bowed his head, and worshiped Yahweh.

Genesis 24:26 · World English Bible
The man bowed his head, and worshiped Yahweh.
When guidance is recognized at work, the mind's whole answer is to lower itself in gratitude, for it sees that what it sought was arranged for it rather than by it. Bowing the head is the ego stepping down, the small self ceasing to insist that it manages its own way.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
When guidance is recognized at work, the mind's whole answer is to lower itself in gratitude, for it sees that what it sought was arranged for it rather than by it. Bowing the head is the ego stepping down, the small self ceasing to insist that it manages its own way. In that lowering there is no defeat, only the relief of a mind that has found it is carried and need no longer strain to lead.
This is the natural response to seeing that love has gone ahead. The thought that was anxious grows still and gives thanks, because it now knows itself upheld by a strength it did not have to supply.
The man: the faithful thought within the mind, the servant who recognizes guidance and answers with gratitude Bowed head: the ego stepping down, the small self surrendering its claim to manage its own way
Christian Psychology lens
How much of my life was arranged for me while I was busy taking credit for it?
The low ground is where all the water gathers. Making yourself small is not losing; it is how you receive.
The moment you admit you cannot do it alone, help that was already there becomes visible. Humility is just honest eyesight.
Remember how much has been given to you that you did not arrange. Gratitude is simply seeing the day accurately.
