When a mind grows quiet and stops its noise, it begins to see what was already on its way to meet it. The answer was never withheld and never far off.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
When a mind grows quiet and stops its noise, it begins to see what was already on its way to meet it. The answer was never withheld and never far off. It approached the whole time the mind was busy elsewhere, and only stillness let the eyes lift and take it in.
So the practice is not to summon anything or to strain toward a distant good. It is to become quiet enough that a mind can finally see the help already arriving toward it.
Isaac: the mind grown still, the quiet in which perception clears and the true answer can be seen The field: the open inner stillness where the mind steps out of its noise to look Eventide: the hour between the day of fear and the rest of love, the threshold where seeing changes The camels: the answer already on its way, the good that approaches while the mind is still learning to look
Christian Psychology lens
What have I been too busy to see coming toward me?
Be still, and things become clear. What was always there shows itself to the quiet mind.
Sit down and stop chasing. What you are looking for has been walking toward you the whole time.
The restless mind misses what is right in front of it. Give yourself an unhurried hour and you will see what the busy hours hid.
