Isaac is the blind self that knows only through the senses, and Jacob is the desired state slipped on like a garment until it feels solid enough to fool them. Isaac cannot see, so he judges by touch and smell, by the feeling of the raiment; and the feeling is what settles the blessing.

MANIFESTATION
Isaac is the blind self that knows only through the senses, and Jacob is the desired state slipped on like a garment until it feels solid enough to fool them. Isaac cannot see, so he judges by touch and smell, by the feeling of the raiment; and the feeling is what settles the blessing. Jacob wears the clothing of the wish already fulfilled, and because it is felt as present and solid, the blessing given cannot be taken back.
The field whose scent the LORD has blessed is the imagination flowering with what a person has assumed. Esau arrives too late. The rough outer world of plain fact comes after the inner state was clothed and felt, and so the felt state wins. A person who wraps his desire in the feeling of its fulfillment, and holds it against the senses, secures a blessing the outer facts must serve.

A state held long enough and warmly enough takes on its own weight and starts to hold itself. The mind stops needing to be convinced.
Mind comes before everything a person later meets. Dwell in a state and you speak and act from it, and what follows comes after you like a shadow.
Water takes the low place and gets its way without forcing anything. The soft, settled thing wins against the hard one.
