Genesis 3:20 · World English Bible
The man called his wife Eve because she would be the mother of all the living.
The reasoning particle of a person, the atom of self, turns and names the thinking process its own source of life. Adam is atom, the male reach of the mind, and the wife he names is the movement of thought paired with the emotions, called here the mother of all living because every living thing a person knows arrives through what the mind conceives.

ESOTERIC
The reasoning particle of a person, the atom of self, turns and names the thinking process its own source of life. Adam is atom, the male reach of the mind, and the wife he names is the movement of thought paired with the emotions, called here the mother of all living because every living thing a person knows arrives through what the mind conceives. Calling her mother is the reasoning self admitting it does not stand first; the life it feels flows up from the inner spirit beneath the thinking.
Naming, in this account, is how one part of the psyche relates to another rather than a label pinned on a stranger. The male and female inside a single person recognize each other, and the mind bows to the living current it did not create.
Adam: the atom, the reasoning male particle of the self Eve: the thinking process joined to the emotions, the inner life through which everything is conceived Mother: the spirit, the living source beneath the thought
Esoteric lens
Where do my thoughts come from, in the half second before I call them mine?
The thinker is not the source. There is a deeper awareness that lights the mind, the way a lamp lights the room without being the furniture.
Naming carves the world into pieces, and the nameless is where the pieces came from. The mind that names is downstream of what it is naming.
The hand cannot grasp itself, and thought cannot think its own beginning. Something older than thinking is already looking out of your eyes.
