CYBERNETICS
What was steadily looked upon came forth in the flesh. The image held before the flocks reproduced itself in the offspring, and the pattern in the mind became the pattern in the living result. The rule stands plain. A clear image, held long enough, bends life to match it.
A person carries the same power in his own self-image. The picture he keeps before his inner eye, day after day, shapes what he brings forth in ability, in bearing, in the results he produces. When the image changes, the harvest changes with it, because the mind reproduces whatever it is given to see.

SELF-HELP
What a person keeps standing in front of them is already deciding what their life will produce.
Output follows intake on a delay long enough that most people never connect the two. What gets conceived forms in front of whatever is standing there, and what stands there is chosen by accident, by whoever owns the room or the feed. A man cheated on his wages stopped arguing about the result and went to work on the input, which is the distance between hoping and engineering.
Ask what someone looks at in the hours nobody assigns them, and the answer predicts the next five years more reliably than any stated goal. The marks show up in the work, in the children, in the tone of a house. A person who refuses to audit what stands in their line of sight spends years blaming the yield for obeying the input.
Cybernetics lens
If my life is growing into whatever I keep looking at, what have I been looking at?
Mind comes first, and all things follow from it. What a person thinks today he lives tomorrow, as naturally as a plant comes up in the shape of its seed.
The mind is a friend to the one who has trained it and an enemy to the one who has not. It gives back exactly what it has been fed.
The soul takes the color of its thoughts, dyed through and through by what it dwells on most.
