Genesis 34:1 · World English Bible
Dinah, the daughter of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.
The sacred inner virgin self wanders out from her own ground and exposes herself to attack. Dinah is the tender feeling born within a person, and her going out to look on the daughters of the land is the inner emotion straying from the still center into the field of outward, worldly feelings.

ESOTERIC
The sacred inner virgin self wanders out from her own ground and exposes herself to attack. Dinah is the tender feeling born within a person, and her going out to look on the daughters of the land is the inner emotion straying from the still center into the field of outward, worldly feelings. Once she leaves the protected inner place, she is unguarded, and what follows is not a literal event but the violation of that sacred inner self by the outer world.
She is the desire of the emotions begotten of a weary and mistaken spirit, drawn outward toward the many restless feelings the world offers. The moment the inner virgin steps beyond her own ground to mingle with those outer emotions, she is left open to the assault the story then describes.
Dinah: the sacred inner virgin self, the tender feeling born within a person Leah: the weary, deceived, wrong spirit that begets misdirected emotion Daughters of the land: the outward, worldly emotions that draw the inner feeling astray
Esoteric lens
What soft thing in you has been wandering out looking for company, and what would it mean to keep it home a while?
The senses run out to the world and come back empty, with the heart more restless than before. Keep the gates and the spirit stays home.
Guard the doors of the senses the way you'd guard a house with something precious inside. What wanders out unwatched comes back damaged.
The heart that goes looking in the bazaar for what it already holds comes home robbed.
