Genesis 40:8 Meaning They Said to Him
They said to him, “We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

Troubled minds carry images they cannot read and believe the meaning is lost, when in truth every dream can be interpreted the moment it is brought to love rather than kept in fear. The ego insists there is no interpreter, that the mind is alone with its confusion; love answers that understanding was never ours to manufacture but is given the instant we ask.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
Troubled minds carry images they cannot read and believe the meaning is lost, when in truth every dream can be interpreted the moment it is brought to love rather than kept in fear. The ego insists there is no interpreter, that the mind is alone with its confusion; love answers that understanding was never ours to manufacture but is given the instant we ask. To hand the dream over is already the shift from the teacher of fear to the teacher of peace.
So the way out of a frightening dream is simply to let love, and not the anxious self, tell you what it means.
Dreamers: minds holding images of fear they believe cannot be understood Joseph: the part of the mind that turns to love for meaning instead of trusting its own alarm

PSYCHOANALYSIS
The men were troubled because a dream had come and its meaning stayed locked away from them. The one who could help did not claim any private cleverness. He pointed past himself, to the same deep source that sends dreams in the first place.
This is the right way to stand before a dream. Its meaning is not something the clever waking mind invents. It comes from a place larger than the personal will, so the task is to grow quiet, tell the dream honestly, and let the meaning rise from the same depth that sent it.
Christian Psychology lens
What are you trying to figure out alone that you could simply hand over?
Muddy water clears when you let it stand. Stirring it to see the bottom is what keeps it dark.
When the trouble is handed over, it stops being a locked door and becomes a doorway. What you could not read alone reads itself in better light.
A question held without panic answers itself in time. The rush to decide is what blocks the seeing.
