Esoteric

The ruler laying down this test is Joseph, the Christ within, seated in power over the very thoughts that once cast him out. He binds them by an oath and holds them fast until the youngest is brought to him. That youngest brother is Benjamin, the right side of the brain that must be brought forth through meditation, the child carried up in the 3 days of the solstice. Until that child is fetched, nothing may move forward.

So a person is held in place until the right-brain faculty is raised into the light. The higher thoughts, the brothers, cannot go on and cannot go home while the youngest stays behind. The whole life waits on the bringing forth of the child.

  1. Sit for ten minutes with no podcast, no music, no scrolling. Let whatever is youngest and least guarded in you have the room. Nothing else needs to happen.
  2. With someone close to you, talk about something you are genuinely curious about rather than something you are managing. Let the conversation be unproductive on purpose.
  3. When a day piles up and everything feels urgent, name the one thing you are avoiding because it asks more of you than efficiency. Do that one first, even badly.

Can you hold your mind as open as a newborn's? The path forward is not more cleverness, it is the return of something simple you have let go cold.

The teacher will not answer the clever question. Come back when you bring the part of yourself you have been leaving outside the door.
