Genesis 8:4 · World English Bible
The ship rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.
The ark is the body carrying the seed of higher consciousness safely through the flood of dissolving emotion, and its coming to rest is the soul reaching stable ground after the deluge subsides. The number 7 is the number of spiritual completion, so the rest falls in the seventh month because the inner work has run its full cycle.

ESOTERIC
The ark is the body carrying the seed of higher consciousness safely through the flood of dissolving emotion, and its coming to rest is the soul reaching stable ground after the deluge subsides. The number 7 is the number of spiritual completion, so the rest falls in the seventh month because the inner work has run its full cycle. The vessel settles on the mountains of Ararat, the high place of raised awareness where the spirit stands above the drowned lower nature.
When the emotional waters that once covered everything finally recede, the awakening life within finds its footing on elevated consciousness and holds firm.
Ark: the body bearing the seed of higher life through the flood of overwhelming emotion Seventh month: the seventh interval marking spiritual completion, the finished cycle of inner work Mountains of Ararat: the high place of raised awareness where the spirit rests above the drowned lower self
Esoteric lens
Where has the storm already passed in my life without me letting myself get out of the boat?
Returning to stillness is the root. Everything churns, then settles, and the one who waits through the churning comes to rest on firm ground.
The mind is compared to a pool stirred up with mud. Nothing clears it but time and quiet, and when it does clear you can finally see the bottom and stand.
He wrote of a mind free from disturbance as a kind of high citadel, a place inside you that the storm does not reach. You retreat there and find the ground does not move.
