Hebrews 3:1 Meaning Therefore

Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,

What does Hebrews 3:1 mean?

An apostle is one who is sent, and to be sent means one has first seen the risen Christ within and now speaks in that name. Christ Jesus, held up here to be considered, is not a man in the past.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

An apostle is one who is sent, and to be sent means one has first seen the risen Christ within and now speaks in that name. Christ Jesus, held up here to be considered, is not a man in the past. It is your own true name once you are awake, the individualized God who wakes where before he only slept. To consider him is to look at the pattern already buried in you.

He is called both the sent one and the high priest because he sends himself and speaks as God, needing no authority beyond the imagination that is his own being. The heavenly calling is not an invitation to admire someone else. It is the summons in every person to recognize that the figure worth considering is what he himself is becoming.

Live Hebrews 3:1 today

  1. Instead of scrolling someone else's highlights today, spend two minutes picturing yourself as the person you most want to be, and feel what that posture is like from the inside.
  2. When you catch yourself admiring someone, say to yourself, "that's in me too," and then do one small thing the way they would do it. Admiration is a clue, not a comparison.
  3. Before a hard call or a meeting where you feel small, pause in the hallway or the parking lot and step into the calm, capable version of yourself. Walk in as him.

The person I keep hoping to become, what if I spent today acting like he's already here?
