Hebrews 5:9 Meaning Having Been Made Perfect

Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

What does Hebrews 5:9 mean?

Being made perfect is the completion of the inner ascent, consciousness brought to full ripeness through the whole passage from flesh to spirit. The higher self does not begin finished but is perfected by going through the body's trials, and once whole it becomes the source from which lasting deliverance flows within a person.

Being made perfect is the completion of the inner ascent, consciousness brought to full ripeness through the whole passage from flesh to spirit. The higher self does not begin finished but is perfected by going through the body's trials, and once whole it becomes the source from which lasting deliverance flows within a person.

To obey is to align the lower nature with that risen center, letting the animal mind fall in behind the awakened one. Salvation is called eternal because it belongs to the deathless part, the spirit that outlasts the body, so the one who follows the inner Christ is drawn up into what cannot die.

Live Hebrews 5:9 today

  1. Before you decide anything today, get quiet for one minute and ask the steadiest part of you what it already knows. Then follow that, not the loudest feeling.
  2. Help one person today with something you have actually been through yourself. What you learned the hard way is the only thing you can hand over whole.
  3. When pressure hits, pause for one breath and let the calmer part of you answer the email or make the call. The jumpy part can wait its turn.

What part of you has earned the right to lead today?
