Isaiah 2:2 · World English Bible

Isaiah 2:2 Meaning It Shall Happen in the Latter Days

It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.

What does Isaiah 2:2 mean?

The mountain of the Lord's house rising above every other height is the higher consciousness within a person taking its rightful seat at the summit. The house is the self, and the mountain the pineal center and the right hemisphere lifting above the lower ranges of the mind; established in the last days, it names the ripening moment when awareness ascends to its own peak.

The hills below are the smaller elevations of thought that this greater height now overtops.

All nations flowing to it are the many scattered faculties of a person gathering and streaming toward that raised center. What unfolds is the whole of the inner life drawn upward and ordered around the highest point of consciousness once it is fully established.

Mountain: the higher realms of consciousness, the pineal center and the right hemisphere rising to the summit House: yourself, the whole person in whom this height is established Hills: the lesser elevations of thought overtopped by the greater height Nations: the many scattered faculties of a person gathering toward the raised center

Live Isaiah 2:2 today

  1. Give yourself ten quiet minutes today with nothing in your hands and no screen in view. You are not trying to achieve anything, just letting the highest part of you take its seat.
  2. Before a conversation you expect to be hard, take thirty seconds to settle in yourself first. Walk in from the calm place rather than the reactive one, and watch how the other person's tone follows yours.
  3. When the day fragments, five tabs, three messages, a meeting starting, stop and name the one thing that actually matters most right now. Let the smaller urgencies arrange themselves under it.

What in me is currently in charge, and is it the highest thing I have?

Tao Te Ching 66

All the streams run to the sea because it lies lowest and keeps still. What is truly highest in us draws everything to itself without ever chasing it.

Bhagavad Gita 6

A mind gathered and settled at its own summit is steady like a lamp in a windless place. From there the scattered senses come to order on their own.
