Isaiah 27:12 · World English Bible

Isaiah 27:12 Meaning It Will Happen in That Day

It will happen in that day that Yahweh will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel.

What does Isaiah 27:12 mean?

The gathering happens one by one, never in a crowd. Each person is drawn out of the scattered outer world and brought home to the single power within.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The gathering happens one by one, never in a crowd. Each person is drawn out of the scattered outer world and brought home to the single power within. Israel is not a nation here but everyone who wakes to imagination as the source. That waking is a private event. No man is gathered as part of a mass; he is gathered alone, in his own awareness.

The threshing from river to stream is the sorting of what is kept from what is let go. A person collects the states worth living from and lets the rest fall away. No one else can do this quiet, personal work for him. The return to the one power is made one soul at a time, and each arrives on his own.

Live Isaiah 27:12 today

  1. Take ten minutes today with the phone face down and sort through what you are carrying. Keep what is yours to keep, and let the rest go without arguing about it.
  2. Instead of handling someone in a group thread, say the one real thing to that one person directly. The honest exchange happens between two people, not in front of an audience.
  3. When the day crowds in and everyone wants something, step out for two minutes, a hallway, a parked car, the walk to the kitchen. Come back having chosen for yourself instead of being carried.

What have I been waiting for someone else to sort out for me?
