Isaiah 41:13 Meaning For I

For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

What does Isaiah 41:13 mean?

Something holds you that is closer than your own hand. It is the presence at the depth of you, the I Am that remains when every thought falls silent.

EGO & BEING

Ego v. Being

Something holds you that is closer than your own hand. It is the presence at the depth of you, the I Am that remains when every thought falls silent. Fear belongs to the mind, which throws itself into an imagined future and trembles there.

You are not living in the future. You are living here, now, and in this moment you are held. When anxiety rises, return to your breath, to the aliveness in your body, to this instant. There you meet the presence that says fear not. It helps you not by removing your problems but by returning you to the one place where fear cannot survive, which is now.

Live Isaiah 41:13 today

  1. When worry wakes you at three in the morning, do not reach for your phone. Feel the weight of the blanket and the air going in and out, and let that be the whole of it until you sleep.
  2. Hold someone's hand today, your kid's, your partner's, a friend's, and stay with the plain warmth of it for a second longer than usual. Being held is something people can give each other.
  3. Before you walk into the thing you are dreading, pause with your hand on the door and feel that you are alive in this body, in this hallway, in this second. Then go in.

Where is my mind right now, and what is actually in front of me?
