Isaiah 48:3 Meaning I Have Declared the Former Things From

I have declared the former things from of old. Yes, they went out of my mouth, and I revealed them. I did them suddenly, and they happened.

What does Isaiah 48:3 mean?

To declare a thing from the beginning and have it go forth out of the mouth is imagining spoken inwardly, a state named and affirmed as already so. The former things are the wishes a person has fixed within before they show, and their going forth is that inner word leaving him to do its work.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

To declare a thing from the beginning and have it go forth out of the mouth is imagining spoken inwardly, a state named and affirmed as already so. The former things are the wishes a person has fixed within before they show, and their going forth is that inner word leaving him to do its work. What a person announces to himself in the feeling of accomplishment is sent out as surely as speech.

And it is done suddenly and comes to pass, because a thing accepted within is finished at once, however long the world takes to catch up. A person believes the imaginal act already accomplished, without watching for delay, and rests in that. The gap between the inner word and the outer event is only time turning. What was inwardly declared with the feeling of the wish fulfilled is what afterward arrives in fact.

Live Isaiah 48:3 today

  1. Say the thing you want, once, to yourself this morning in the feeling that it is already so, then let the day go without checking on it.
  2. Tell someone what you have decided rather than what you are still hoping for, and resist going back over it with them later to see if it is working.
  3. When nothing has moved and you want to refresh your inbox for the fifth time, put the phone face down. The slowness is time turning, not an answer.

Where am I still watching for a delay in something I already settled inside?

The bell is struck once, and the ringing is already whole in that instant even as the sound travels the valley. The act is finished before the ear catches it.
