Isaiah 59:4 Meaning No One Sues in Righteousness
No one sues in righteousness, and no one pleads in truth. They trust in vanity, and speak lies. They conceive mischief, and give birth to iniquity.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
A society rots from the inside when no one will speak straight. Here the machinery of a people has quietly reversed itself. No one calls for what is right, no one argues for what is so, and the vacuum fills with the profitable lie. Deceit becomes the water everyone swims in, and after a while no one notices the taste.
Falsehood is not passive. The image is obstetric and deliberate: mischief conceived, iniquity delivered, wrong pushed into the world like a birth. A lie told often enough produces consequences its author never intended. Refuse to speak it, even once, and you starve the thing at the root.
Clinical Psychology lens
Where have I gotten so used to a comfortable lie that I no longer taste it?
He who lies offends against truth itself, and the damage does not stay in the sentence. It spreads into everything built on it afterward.
One of the steps of the path is simply to not say what is false. It sounds small until you try keeping it for a single day.
If names do not match things, nothing holds. Call the thing what it is, or the whole order of a society loosens at the joints.
