Jeremiah 23:24 · World English Bible
Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.
There is no secret place you can go where awareness is not already present. The ego dreams of hidden corners and private thoughts, an inner self sealed off from everything.
From the Ego v. Being reading below.
The same verse, read by 2 traditions.

EGO & BEING
There is no secret place you can go where awareness is not already present. The ego dreams of hidden corners and private thoughts, an inner self sealed off from everything. But the very consciousness by which you would hide is the presence you imagine you are hiding from. You cannot step outside of it, because it is what you are looking with.
Do I not fill heaven and earth. This is not the threat of a distant judge watching you. It is the plain fact that awareness is everywhere, filling this moment completely, leaving no gap where a truly separate self could exist. When you stop hiding and rest as that all-pervading presence, the loneliness of separation ends, because there was never anywhere apart from it to be.

SUFISM
The question is put to prophets who spoke lies in a corner and thought the corner was private. That is the secret disease, the belief that some closet exists where the deed goes unwatched, where a person can be one thing in the dark and another in the open. The hiding is itself the sin.
The cure is to live as one already seen, letting the private self match the public one. And God is the fullness that leaves no empty closet, filling heaven and earth so completely that whoever hides already stands inside the presence he flees.
Ego v. Being lens
What would this hour feel like if there were nothing to keep hidden?
That subtle essence is the whole world, and you are that. There is no outside to it from which you could be excluded.
A fish once set out to find the ocean. Wherever it swam, it was already swimming in what it was looking for.
Wherever you turn your face, the divine is there. The eye that searches is itself lit by what it is searching for.
