CYBERNETICS

Cybernetics

When a person settles on an outcome with quiet certainty, the mind treats that decision as an order and begins arranging the path toward it. A wavering wish gets no such answer. A decree, held as already granted, sets the automatic mechanism working to make it stand.

Light on the way is what follows once the aim is clear. Confusion lifts because the goal itself lights up the next step, then the next. The promise here is that a thing firmly pictured and firmly chosen tends to become established, and the road to it grows visible as a person walks.

A heart could hear this and swell, imagining its own word bends the world to its wishes, and that is the oldest pride, mistaking the borrowed lamp for the sun. It is healed by emptying the will and aligning it first, so what gets decreed is what the light already wants.

Then the decreeing and the establishing are not two powers but one. The word that stands is His, spoken through a cleared heart, the way water takes the color of its cup without ceasing to be water, and the promised light is that same Presence.

Live Job 22:28 today

  1. Pick one thing you have been half wishing for and write it down as a decision, not a maybe. One line in your notes app, phrased as though it is settled.
  2. Tell one person today what you have decided, plainly, without the softening words. Saying it out loud to someone makes it real in a way thinking never does.
  3. When the day gets loud, meetings stacking up, messages piling in, ask yourself which one next step serves the thing you decided. Do that one and let the noise wait.

What have I been wishing for that I have never actually decided?

Bhagavad Gita 2

The settled mind acts with one aim, while the scattered mind is pulled a hundred ways and arrives nowhere. Steadiness itself is what clears the path.
