Job 9:9 · World English Bible
He makes the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the rooms of the south.
The old star names carry states of consciousness, not points of fire. Orion is a light held captive within the bull-mind, the ego of the flesh whose bands cannot be loosened by force, a brightness bound inside the animal personality until it is freed from within.

ESOTERIC
The old star names carry states of consciousness, not points of fire. Orion is a light held captive within the bull-mind, the ego of the flesh whose bands cannot be loosened by force, a brightness bound inside the animal personality until it is freed from within. The Pleiades are the 7 centers set along the spine, the ladder a person climbs from the lowest to the highest. Arcturus is the coming one, the star that names the return to God, the higher self drawing near. So the maker of these is the power that set the whole inner heaven in a person, the bound light and the ladder of centers and the one who comes.
Orion: a light imprisoned within the bull-mind, the ego and flesh whose bands hold it fast Pleiades: the 7 centers along the spine, the ascent of consciousness through the body Arcturus: the coming one, the higher self that draws near and calls a person home Chambers of the south: the hidden inner rooms of the lower body where these forces are stored

Which part of you is bright and still boxed in?
The centers along the spine are described as a ladder, and the whole of practice is a slow climb from the lowest rung of appetite to the highest clear light at the crown.
The body is mapped as its own sky, with gates and chambers from the base to the top of the head, and the work is moving energy up through them rather than reaching for anything outside.
Every person carries a light that is held captive in the clay, and the beloved who comes to free it is not far off but nearer than one's own breath.
