John 15:22 Meaning If I Had Not Come and Spoken
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

John 15:22 · World English Bible
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Awareness ends the excuse of not knowing. Sin is read as missing the mark, the unconscious state.

EGO & BEING
Awareness ends the excuse of not knowing.
Sin is read as missing the mark, the unconscious state. Once light is present the unconsciousness becomes visible and can no longer be innocent.

MANIFESTATION
Sin here means missing the mark, falling short of the state a person could occupy. Before the inner word is spoken, before he knows imagination is the power that shapes his life, his failures are simply ignorance and carry no cover to strip away. Once the truth is spoken in him, he knows he assumes his own conditions, and no excuse remains for staying in a state he could leave.
The cloak is the plea of helplessness, the belief that circumstances are done to him from outside. That covering falls the moment he understands that consciousness is the only cause. He cannot blame the world now. Knowing he chooses the state he lives from, a person who keeps the lower state does so without any longer being able to say he could not have chosen otherwise.
