John 17:6 Meaning I Revealed Your Name to the People
I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.

John 17:6 · World English Bible
I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.
The name here is not a label but a nature, and the nature made known is Father, the awareness of being that fathers everything a person experiences. To manifest that name is to make the states within a person recognize what they truly come from.
From the Manifestation reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

MANIFESTATION
The name here is not a label but a nature, and the nature made known is Father, the awareness of being that fathers everything a person experiences. To manifest that name is to make the states within a person recognize what they truly come from. The men given out of the world are not other people. They are the states of mind lifted out of the evidence of the senses and brought under one awareness.
Those states were always his, drawn up out of the world and gathered into the self that holds them. They have kept the word, which means they have held the assumption steady rather than drifting back to appearances. The whole verse is one awareness speaking of its own inner life, naming itself as the source of all it contains. A person is the Father of every state he keeps.

What do I keep claiming as mine, and would I want a whole day born from it?
The teaching ends in one sentence repeated to a son until he feels it: that vast reality is what you are. The self you call yours is not a tenant of the world but the ground the world stands on.
To study the way is to study the self, and studying the self is finding there is no separate self holding the ten thousand things apart. What you take in, you become the home of.
Know the mother and you understand her children. Hold to the source and the many shapes stop being strangers to you.
