John 20:30 Meaning Therefore Jesus Did Many Other Signs

Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;

What does John 20:30 mean?

The signs are the countless times the creative power in a person answers an inner act, and most go unrecorded because they are lived rather than written. Every state you assume and inwardly accept produces its own confirmation in the responsive world outside.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The signs are the countless times the creative power in a person answers an inner act, and most go unrecorded because they are lived rather than written. Every state you assume and inwardly accept produces its own confirmation in the responsive world outside. That answering world is David, the whole of life bending to prove that your imaginal acts carry the authority of law.

The unwritten signs outnumber the written by far. No book could hold them. They are happening now, in the presence of your own faculties, each time an assumption hardens into an event you can point to. You are not asked to count them. The signs confirm one thing: whatever you inwardly accept as done, the mirror of the world hands back to you as fact. The proof runs endless because the power does.

  1. Look back over the last month and find one thing that arrived that you had quietly been expecting. Sit with it long enough to see the connection.
  2. Tell someone close to you about a small thing that came through for you lately. Saying it out loud is how it stops being invisible.
  3. On a day when nothing seems to be working, count three things that already did. Do it in the grocery line or at a red light, not as a chore, just as a correction to the record.

How many answers have you already been given that you never stopped to count?

The same truth in other traditions

Taoism · Tao Te Ching

The way does nothing visible and yet nothing is left undone. The work is everywhere and almost none of it gets recorded.

Hinduism · Upanishads

As is the mind, so is a person. What you dwell on quietly becomes the world that meets you when you open your eyes.

Buddhism · Dhammapada

All that we are arises with our thoughts. The world you walk through is made of what you have been thinking, and the proof keeps arriving all day.
