CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

There comes a point where the mind sees that every other voice leads back into the same fear, and only one voice offers a way out. The question is not asked in despair but in honest recognition: nothing else has anything real to give. A mind that has tasted the peace of love can no longer pretend the alternatives are equal, for it has heard the one teaching that answers the longing underneath all its seeking.

This is the moment of quiet commitment, not because every doubt is gone, but because the mind has finally admitted where its healing actually lies.

Simon Peter: the part of the mind that, having glimpsed the truth, recognizes there is nowhere else worth turning and speaks its willingness aloud.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

Peter is faith itself, the firm inner conviction that stands when everything easier has walked away. His question is not really a question. It is the recognition that once a person has tasted the power of his own assuming, there is nowhere else to turn, because nothing outside holds what this holds. Every external cause has proved empty; only the inner word remains.

The words of eternal life are the states a person claims as already his, the I AM that fulfills whatever it conceives. They are called eternal because they never fail to become fact when held with conviction. Faith knows this and cannot leave it for a lesser thing. A person who has felt his imagining harden into the world he lives in has found the one power there is. To whom else would he go, having located God as his own awareness of being.

Live John 6:68 today

  1. Be honest with yourself today about one habit you keep returning to for relief that has never actually delivered. You do not have to quit it to admit it.
  2. Tell one person out loud what you are actually leaning on these days. Saying it to someone makes it real in a way that thinking it never does.
  3. When the pressure hits and you reach for the usual fix, the phone, the drink, the extra hour of work, pause and ask it directly whether it has ever helped. Then choose the thing you already know helps.

If I am honest, where has my healing actually come from, and why do I keep looking elsewhere?

After enough honest looking, you see that every escape route leads back to the same ache. That seeing is not despair; it is the beginning of the way out.
